🍽️ Highlights from Baryo HiFi 2025: Music, Food, and Art in LA 🍽️

 On May 3, 2025, Historic Filipinotown in Los Angeles transformed into a lively hub of Filipino culture and community as it hosted the second annual Baryo HiFi festival. Organized by the Historic Filipinotown Coalition in partnership with comedian Jo Koy, Nike, SoundCloud, and others, this free, open-air street festival marked the beginning of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.

A Feast for the Senses

Baryo HiFi offered attendees a rich tapestry of Filipino-American experiences. The festival featured a diverse array of Filipino cuisine from renowned local establishments such as Dollar Hits, Lasita, The Park’s Finest, and Same Same Dumpling. Live performances by Filipino DJs, dancers, and musicians energized the crowd, while an art exhibition curated by local artist Kristofferson San Pablo provided a visual exploration of contemporary Filipino-American perspectives.
