Russo Mutuc is AMAZING to work with. The photos above say it all. I've worked with many photographers, and rarely are there more than two photos that really shine through. With Russo, I got more than I could ever dream of. He is an inspiring artist, and for this particular shoot I was so thankful not only for his eye but also for his ear. He really listened to what I was looking for-the lighting, the mood, the feel. He was so thorough in his research that when we began shooting he knew exactly how he was going to light and compose the photos, which was a blessing since there wasn't any worry about keeping the energy and pace flowing in a shoot that can otherwise be very exhausting. Russo is such a beautiful person too. He has inspired me with his work and wisdom in more ways than he will ever know. Being in front of a camera can be very scary. With Russo, I felt comfortable to bring out everything I was hoping he would capture. To have someone behind the camera that supports you in your risks and makes you feel comfortable in your choices, is truly a skill. He is really great about getting "it" out of you...the look, the feel...the spirit. He has an eye like no other, and the art in his heart is breathtaking.

Thank you Niki, it was so much fun lighting, composing, and photographic with you on this day, at The Varnish. It was even more exciting, when the bar won best cocktail bar in the US. You have an amazing beauty that communicates well in the camera, and I was more than happy to capture that.
